Dr Lim graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 1993. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of public and private positions. Before joining Grange Family Dental, she worked at Medland Dental Centre, Annerley alongside Dr Jeremy Lam and prior to this, was practising in Carindale for 12 years. She brings many years of experience with her and patients often comment on her gentleness.
Denise has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to quality patient care. To stay abreast of the ever-changing world of modern dentistry, she continually updates her skills with postgraduate dental seminars and courses both locally and internationally.
Outside of dentistry, Denise is an intrepid traveller and enjoys experiencing new and different cultures. In 2011-2012, she took a sabbatical and indulged in her passion for travel around the world, travelling to many countries including far-flung places like Cuba and Nepal. She is also an avid reader and enjoys a good book as well as watching a variety of sports, especially Formula One and rugby union. She loves dogs and cats, having grown up with German shepherds, a couple of Yorkshire terriers, a cocker spaniel and a Russian Blue. In the future, Denise would like to perform volunteer dentistry in areas of need in the third world and of course, travel more.
