This means you will never be left in the lurch at your time of need. As long as you specify clearly when you contact us that you need to be seen urgently, we will always endeavour to fit you in within the next working day.

Our surgery number also provides an emergency after hours contact should the matter be extremely urgent and requires after hours care. Grange Family Dental is dedicated in looking after those current patients who have invested their trust in us.

At Grange Family Dental, we believe so strongly in the quality of our work, we provide an in-house warranty on all treatment we perform. This can vary from 6 months for temporary work all the way to 10 years for dental implants.*

*Please see explanatory page for detail. Most standard fillings have a 12 month warranty.

As long as they have valid dental cover on their private health fund or are entitled to the new Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme*. This means 99% of the time, if your child is under the age of 10, you will have no gap to pay.

If you do not fit into this category, we have also capped our children’s fees for preventative care so know exactly how much their check up appointment will cost you.*

We have a special contract with HCF and CBHS to provide NO GAP preventative treatments so any preventive care such as checkup and clean or intra-oral x-rays will all be fully paid for by HCF or CBHS every 6 months and you will have no gap to pay. All these claims can be immediately processed by our HiCaps system so you will no longer be required to pay up front and claim it back later. This saves you both time, money and the leg work of having to contact the health fund to get your money back.

If your current health fund is not on our system, we will add it onto our system as soon as possible to save you time in the future. Currently we already accept all the major funds such as HCF, BUPA, NIB, MBP, DVA, Medicare etc.

Whilst we promise quality of our treatment will be top notch, our service fees are structured to closely resemble the state average made available to us by the Australian Dental Association. In fact, just about all of our service fees are either equal to or lower than the state average.**

At Grange Family Dental, we believe that top quality care shouldn’t cost extra.

Thanks to the many years of experience and expertise of our team, we are able to provide most forms of complex dental care in-house to save you the running around. Ranging from molar root canal treatment, to Dental Implants and Nitrous Oxide.

This means you will be treated by the same dentist from start to finish instead of doing the rounds at different specialists. Furthermore, as we are a general practice, we do not charge the fees that are usually associated with a specialist referral.

At our practice, we believe no two people are the same; therefore we will always listen to your concerns and then tailor your treatment plan to your individual dental needs. If you have any concerns, and wish to speak to one of our dentists, we will always get back to you in-person ASAP. All of our patients have direct access to our dentists via email or phone, and if we can’t get back to you straight away, we will always try to let you know when we will be able to give you a call back.

High Quality Training and Products

This means you can have the peace of mind in knowing that the materials that we use in your mouth is of the highest Australian standard and all the materials used are TGA Approved. Laboratories outside Australia do not have to comply with the same rigorous standards that Aussie labs do. Therefore, you simply don’t know what is going into your mouth.

If you wish to have a tour of our laboratory, we can organise it with them with advanced notice. In fact we often recommend our patients to meet our technicians in person when performing highly aesthetic work. This allows the technician to get an appreciation of your features so they can match your smile accordingly.

In fact, all our current dentists have been trained by the University of Queensland’s School of Dentistry. Furthermore, all our dentists have complied with a strict requirement of continuing education via post-graduate dental courses since the day they graduated. Whilst the need for a minimum amount of annual continued dental training has recently become mandatory, all our dentists have always voluntarily furthered their knowledge by attending the latest courses to learn how to perfect the latest innovations in dentistry.

In fact, Dr Lam has previously volunteered their time as Clinical Instructors at the University of Queensland to help train our next generation of dentists.

Community Participation

We believe in giving something back to the community.

Since 2008, Dr Lam has personally supported the charitable work of World Vision by sponsoring 5 disadvantaged children from around the world. He has seen many children graduate from the world vision program in that time and looks forward to continuing this relationship into the future.

More recently, Dr Lam has joined many local graduates in providing free dental care to those who are less fortunate via the charity organisation TIMA. TIMA specialises in providing for the homeless and refugees who cannot afford proper dental care.
